CARGOSTORE: SUPPLYING OFFSHORE CONTAINERS

Sponsored by the Al Yaseah Group, Cargostore Containers LLC, Abu Dhabi started supplying Offshore Containers locally to the ADNOC Group and privately owned companies in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Cargostore Containers LLC is the UAE branch of the UK owned Cargostore Worldwide Trading Ltd., and has been supplying quality DNV 2.7-1 certified CCU’s since 1993. The Abu Dhabi location is in addition to the Dubai depot, from which Cargostore has traditionally supplied DNV 2.7-1 certified equipment in the UAE and the wider Middle Eastern Region. With an impressive range of Cargo Carrying Units for the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry, Cargostore can supply DNV 2.7-1 certified 10 and 20 FT CCU’s, reefers and bespoke equipment ranging in size from the DNV tool box to the DNV 47ft riser baskets.

New 20ft DNV 2.7-1 certified reefer units for offshore use have recently been moved into the UAE, with further units scheduled to be moved in the fourth quarter of 2017. This equipment is destined for a variety of customers in the region. A further ten ISO reefers are awaiting mobilization ex-factory.

In addition, bespoke A60 DNV 2.7-1 Zone 1 certified offshore units, a 12ft mud logging unit and a smoking shack have been delivered to a major client in the region. Cargostore Vice President, Offshore Jacob Poot says “ The potential to supply DNV 2.7-1 certified equipment, either for rental or sale is enormous. Now this International Standard is becoming a requirement for working in the Offshore Oil and Gas industry in the UAE.
